Don’t Let the Mouse Blind Your Eyes

Internet chatting is a modern phenomenon. ECPAT Taiwan concerns the potential danger and problems of it.  Therefore, sponsored by Children’s Bureau, ECPAT Taiwan produced our second CF Don’t Let the Mouse Blind Your Eyes. This CF reminds general public the potential risk in Internet chatting. People could provide false personal information about themselves online.  Therefore, Internet users should keep alert in the cyber world.

2005 Child Film Festival

Through the Child Film Festival, ECPAT Taiwan wishes that children could learn more about themselves. And meanwhile adults could concern the issues of child rights more than before by looking into children’s heart and mind. 2005 Child Film Festival touring includes Taipei County, Shinchu, Ilan, Changhwa and Kaohsiung. There were in total 2237 attendants in 2005.

2005 Summer Youth Human Rights Camp

The Youth Human Rights Camp has been hold during student’s summer vacations once a year since 2003. It is aim to encourage young people to participate in different issues which are related to human rights, also raise young people’s awareness of human rights. As a result, various issues have been discussed such as international human rights concept and laws, media and human rights participation.  In 2005, the third camp was also held to discuss the issues of young people’s participation in public affairs, international activities, human rights and community work.

This is a Comic Book, the story was written by Ms. Shui-wen Chung, and the painting was drawn by Chia-Lin Chen. The story is about two student meet some adventure experience on the Internet. And appeals the parents to pay attention on children’s Internet Safety.
